Many clients are concerned about the budget; however, going with the cheapest vendor can often risk the success of an event. Conversely, going with the most expensive vendor can waste money. At Precision Productions, we believe in providing great value for our clients at a reasonable price.
Case Study: Seeq Corporation
A software company has experienced rapid growth over the last several years and could not have an annual meeting for customers and employees due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Before the pandemic, they were a much smaller company and did much smaller meetings. Now they wanted a first-class meeting that would wow their attendees and would be the largest meeting they had ever attempted. There was also a significant challenge because the ballroom the clients selected ended up being too small due to the overwhelming response and the number of guests that were enthusiastically wanting to attend the meeting.
CLIENT CHALLENGE:
We provided a consultative solution that allowed us to maximize the value of our account team by collaborating with the client on pre-event calls and site visits and providing detailed conceptual drawings and 3D renderings. We developed a design concept that provided the high-tech look and feel the client wanted while maximizing space in the room. Our solution included an immersive 50' video wall and creative use of lighting to set the mood.

The client was able to have a highly successful meeting and achieve their goals of reconnecting with their clients and employees. The technology helped create an engaging and fun atmosphere in an intimate space.

Large AV companies treat the client as a number and lack the attention to detail the client’s event deserves.
Small AV companies do not have the necessary resources to provide the latest gear and quality staff.
Mid-size “boutique” AV companies have the resources to provide high-end technology and personalized service.
Large AV Company.
Large AV companies may have the greatest amount of equipment for the largest events, but clients may feel they are treated as just a number, getting lost in the shuffle. Since their overhead is higher, the pricing may be unnecessarily inflated.
Large AV companies typically handle multiple shows at the same time and as a direct result they can be less flexible with pricing. These companies tend to be more sales driven than mid-size companies and many times may not be able to accommodate individual requests or cater to specific visions.
Medium AV Company
We consider medium sized AV companies like Precision Productions as “the sweet spot”. We can give our clients customizable options to fit their individual needs. Medium AV companies possess the resources to have quality equipment and excellent staff. They have the bandwidth to offer individualized planning and execution. Our goal is to partner with our clients to build long-term relationships.
Small AV Company.
Smaller AV companies typically do not have the technical capability, quality equipment or experienced manpower to handle the needs of complex events. Backup equipment, proper cooperate structure and liability insurance protection can be an issue with these companies.
